How it works
Three steps and you are editing

Install
Run the installer. It copies the styles and the fonts exactly where DaVinci Resolve looks for them. Under a minute.

Drag
In Resolve, type "LC" in the Effects › Titles search box and drag the style you want onto the header of your subtitle track.

Adjust
Hit "Analyze Word Timing" so it syncs word by word, then change colour, size and position from the Track tab in the Inspector.

Pack questions
What people ask me most
Are the colours fixed, or can I change them?
You change them. Every style ships with its own colour, size, position and weight controls in the Resolve Inspector. That is why you will not find the same style repeated in five colours — it would be padding the catalogue with something you can already do in two clicks.
Can I use a different typeface from the ones included?
Yes. The font is just another control on the style: switch to anything you have installed and the rest of the animation keeps working exactly the same.
Do they work for vertical video — Reels, Shorts, TikTok?
Yes. Size and position are adjustable, so the same style covers both 16:9 and 9:16.
Do I have to transcribe the subtitles myself?
No. DaVinci Resolve Studio listens to your audio and generates the transcription on its own, with "Create Subtitles from Audio". The pack is applied on top of that track.
What if I have the free version of DaVinci Resolve?
Then this pack is not for you, and I would rather tell you before you pay. The word-by-word animation does not read the subtitle text — it reads the per-word timings Resolve calculates when it transcribes your audio, and that transcription only exists in Studio. Importing an .srt does not help, because an .srt stores the timing of the whole line, not of each word.
I changed style and the track did not update — why?
That is how Resolve works: when you apply a style, the track keeps its own copy. To change it, just drag the new style onto the track header again. It is covered in the tutorial.
Can the included fonts be used commercially?
Yes. All 22 typefaces carry open licences (SIL Open Font License or Apache), so you can use them in commercial and client work without any issue.
